Emergency Update
I found my dad yesterday seizing in bed. I called 911 and he was taken to the emergency room. They were not able to stabilize his seizures, and we opted to have him sedated and a breathing tube put in. We do not plan to keep him alive only on the tube, we just did it for a comfort issue. At this point the fight is his and only his, there is nothing else any of us can do.. For now we ask family only to come see him, and hope those of you who saw and got to sit and talk to him remember him just like that. He would want that. I'll keep everyone updated I promise.

My dearest Jessie, My heart breaks for you as you face this uncertainty. My prayers and love overflow for you and your family. We won't know this side of eternity, why God allows suffering and early death to happen. I only know, He will get you through this with peace and strength. In my college paper on Sudden Death at tylercockhill.com, I expressed my confusion about why God allows death of the young, page 18 to 20. Your dad is too young to die! I am still contending for his healing. I will always believe that God allows death, but it not his will. Sin changed everything in the Garden of Eden, when death became a reality. Please draw close to Jesus for He can give you the peace that passes understanding. Much Love, Karen
